| In 2006, 2007, and 2008, the Tauck
Foundation operated and funded the Summer Experiences Scholarship
Program which provided financial assistance to low-income middle and
high school youth in Rochester, NY to attend a range of programs and
camps during July and August.
After careful consideration of a variety of factors, the Tauck Foundation has suspended its Summer Experiences Scholarship Program. The foundation will not be operating this program in 2009 and we do not anticipate reinstating it in the future. While we will no longer be accepting applications from individual youth, we remain committed to funding non-profit organizations in the Rochester area that provide high-quality after-school and/or summer programming for low-income youth.
