    Funding to acquire and install a replica of the Deportation Cross, intended to signify Louisiana’s importance to Acadian history and its relationship to other Acadian sites in North America and Europe.
  • Kaloko-Honokohau National Historic Park, Kona, HI
    $75,000
    Capital grant to support restoration of the Kaloko Fishpond, considered to be one of the most significant historic and cultural features in west Hawaii and an engineering marvel. This grant was made through Save America's Treasures.
  • National Park Foundation, Washington, DC
    $500,000 over 5 years
    Since 2003, this funding has supported 3-year grants to individual parks to develop more creative, innovative, and sustainable volunteer programs. Parks awarded grants include: Alcatraz Island (Golden Gate Recreation Area), Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, Independence National Historical Park, Shenandoah National Park, and Zion National Park.
